JAT are an English boy band formed in 2003 and comprising of James Harrison, Andrew Collins, Thomas Atcherley, Jake Wyss and Ryan Wilson. In 2004 they signed to Simon Cowell's Syco Records after winning series one of The X Factor UK. They left the label in late 2005 after releasing the labels most successful album JAT which sold 16 million copies and the highly successful "A Million Love Songs". They signed a joint deal with Interscope and Columbia records in November 2005 in time to begin recording their second album One Love. They then released Night Changes, Excessive, V and Into the Abyss in 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013 respectively on the labels. They would leave Interscope and Columbia in 2014 and sign to Universal Records where they released their most recent album Out Alone in October 2014.
In April 2007 the band reached 131 million sales thus becoming the best-selling boy band of all-time and overtaking The Backstreet Boys and in December 2013 the band reached 400 million sales and as of December 2013 they have sold just under 420 million records.
